............ and this is why, as much as i'd like to know the exact application, i kept my question vague and simply asked if they were used in an audio or industrial application. I figure that opens the door, if they want to volunteer more info, or invite more questions. They didn't.

I'm not an interested buyer, and didn't pretend to be. They answered my question satisfactorily and i respect that and their right to conduct their business at their preferred level of privacy.

After the fact does the competition matter? I don't know specifics about liquidation, but if it's like other business's there's a bid process, and a contract is awarded. Short of the govt. I wouln't think liquidation would be a continuois thing.

If the sound company will sell more stuff to the eBay seller later, yes it DOES matter. Business is not always a one shot deal. Good businesses build ongoing relationships

IOW someone else could get the next load from the supplier.
